Joy
Joy is the natural brightness of being when nothing is resisted.
It does not require celebration, nor does it depend on circumstance. It arises quietly when life is met without argument.
This virtue is not excitement, nor the pursuit of happiness. It is contentment alive, a lightness that appears when presence is complete.
Joy is found in simplicity: in breath, in movement, in the ordinary moments allowed to be enough.
It radiates without effort, touching others not through display, but through authenticity. Here, gratitude is not practiced, it is felt.
Joy does not deny difficulty. It exists alongside it, unchanged by conditions, rooted deeper than mood.
In joy, life is no longer postponed. It is lived now. And in this living, a quiet celebration unfolds on its own.
