Gratitude
Gratitude is the recognition that something has already been given.
It arises when attention turns from what is missing to what is sustaining life in this moment.
This virtue is not a practice of positivity, nor an exercise in optimism. It is a natural response to seeing clearly.
Gratitude opens perception. Ordinary moments regain depth. What was overlooked reveals its quiet generosity.
In gratitude, the present becomes sufficient. Joy is no longer postponed. Abundance is felt without accumulation.
Gratitude acknowledges relationship, the visible and invisible contributions that make each moment possible. Nothing stands alone.
Here, appreciation flows without effort. Not because life is perfect, but because it is received.
Gratitude does not multiply possessions. It multiplies presence. And in this presence, life feels gently full.
